The outside branches of the Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Congregation
There are three branches belonging to our church located to the south-east of London: Canterbury, Guildford and Haywards Heath. Regular services and talking groups take place here as well.
Are you finding the way into London too far? Then you are most welcome to come and get to know us - we are always very happy to see new faces!
Canterbury
We are a friendly, welcoming group of (mainly) women aged 50 and above, who meet in each others homes. Our vicar Silke Halfmann opens our meetings with a short talk and we exchange our views and chat about different topics of interest. Delicious cake and coffee/tea will of course be available, too.
We usually meet every 2nd Thursday of the month from 2-4pm.

Guildford
Church for families is colourful - just as colourful as our group of adults and children of (almost) any age.
We celebrate a family service four times a year on a Saturday at 4pm.
We provide musical accompaniment ourselves. Our service is relaxed and family friendly, using stones and tealights and inviting you to listen to or even join in with a story from the bible.
Following the service we stay on for our friendly Social, where delicious bring and share food such as cake, pizza or fruit rounds off our afternoon together.

Haywards Heath
A group of ladies who came to this country after the war for work or as an Au-Pair, but also English friends, who wish to practice their German or bilingual children of the first generation.
We spend an hour for our church service followed by coffee and cake - our group of (mostly) older German Speakers enjoy both in equal measure and is always very happy to welcome new people who would like to join!
We usually meet every other (odd) month for our service with Holy Communion on Saturdays at 1pm.
