Following the service there is a splendid coffee and cake buffet on offer in the hall next to the church. It is always a very special afternoon with singing, eating and lively conversations.

The sense of community experienced through this is very important to all members of the group.

Canterbury

The German-speaking group in Canterbury has existed since the 1960s. At that time, the pastor of the Bonhoeffer congregation began to travel regularly to meetings with German mothers and families in the episcopal city.

Discussion Group

Today the group consists of around 20 women who meet once a month in private homes for an afternoon of lively talks over coffee and home-baked(!) cakes. Alongside topics relating to the Bible, Theology and Faith we offer the opportunity for mutual exchange and good fellowship.

The respective dates and information about our meetings can be found on the homepage in the calendar and will be announced in our newsletter.

We welcome new members
The Canterbury group is open to young and old alike and warmly welcomes anyone who would like to take part.
